HAPPY MENTAL HEALTH DAY!

....I got this from my boss today....

Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have:

Ralph and Edna were both patients in a mental hospital. One day while they were walking past the hospital swimming pool, Ralph suddenly jumped into the deep end. He sank to the bottom of the pool and stayed there. Edna promptly jumped in to save him. She swam to the bottom and pulled him out.

When the Head Nurse Director became aware of Edna's heroic act she immediately ordered her to be discharged from the hospital, as she now considered her to be mentally stable.

When she went to tell Edna the news she said, 'Edna, I have good news and bad news. The good news is you're being discharged, since you were able to rationally respond to a crisis by jumping in and saving the life of the person you love. I have concluded that your act displays sound mindedness. The bad news is, Ralph hung himself in the bathroom with his bathrobe belt right after you saved him. I am so sorry, but he's dead.'

Edna replied, 'He didn't hang himself, I put him there to dry. How soon can I go hom?'

Trip to New York....

Last summer I got to take a trip to New York with some friends. SO MUCH FUN! Loved the city. Wondered if I ever could REALLY live there. Lots of site seeing. Lots of walking! Lots of good food. Lots of crazies! We visited the Today Show....on the day Enrique Iglesias was there....

In Tucson and Phoenix there is a radio show who at the time was talking with Enrique daily. Their names...."John Jay and Rich." Apparently there was another girl there from Tucson who made arrangment to MEET Enrique. On the side of the blog...there is a picture of us with Enrique. Here is us with the sign and a close up of the cutie! Best of all.....I got to act like a retard on the radio for quite a while! OH.....and......Enrique kissed us on the cheek, TWICE!

More for Eric......

Eric said I needed more pics of him....so I decided to add some of the pics from a few of our many trips. We spent christmas in Utah. Here are a couple from that.
Eric in his Beenie....so cute!

The trip to Utah was seriously Crazy Cold. Below Zero EVERYDAY! But, we bundled up and Eric, Darren and I decided to go tubing. This was after our fun.

Zoe, my niece absolutely loves to beat up Eric every time she sees him.

This is actually from my birthday weekend in Sedona. We drove a dirt road from Sedona all the way to Flagstaff, taking pictures the entire way....and then chowed down at a Cracker Barrel. Their biscuits and gravy are to die for.

Ouch!!!!

THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER PICK YOUR NOSE!

Meet the crew!

These are the guys that run my house....or, well think they do. Wicket, Chuy, and Barkley! So much fun. Barkley is definitely the trouble making nosey "little brother". Fun stuff.

Playing a little catch up.....

Since its starting to warm up......Leisel and Terry, (my sister and bro-in-law) took Eric and I with their family out on Saguaro lake. It was surprisingly too cold to jump in, however awesome for driving around in the boat! We pulled up to the shore and let the crazy Zach and Zoe swim around....and turn blue. It was colder than they thought too!

This is a picture of Eric and I taken at my sisters house by her cute little Ali when we were there for her and Kaulin's baptism.

This is our most recent family Picture....Plus a few extra! My sister's husband's parents are the two gransparents on the left. They have basically taken us all in....and treated us all like family. It's kind of nice when our own parents and grandparents are no longer around. We don't get together, all of us, very often....this was a dual baptism! Kaulin and Ali! How exciting.

First time for everything!

I decided it was time to try this blog thing out. Myspace has worn out...and frankly I never figured out facebook, so here I am. Trying out the blog stuff.
Seems like fun!

I'm still living in Tucson...contracted at Tucson Medical Center for 8 more months. I can't wait to be done with the desert! I love being a nurse...but I hate how busy it has been lately! I love connecting with the patients. When it is crazy busy that isn't possible.

I am incredibly in love with my dogs still! Chuy and Barkley are my boys! Funny how Chuy is the barker and Barkley is the Chewer! But both are extremely sweet and extremely spoiled.

Guess that's all for now...til I get this blog thing figured out!
