Just a few more pictures of the big day. This is our first dance....Wish you could see my dress up close. The train was beautiful! But I am a little partial.

Gettin Hitched!
WE DID IT!
Eric and I finally got married! It's true....the planning and event came and went in a real quick hurry, and it was small. But it was perfect! Here are just a few pictures that I have scavenged.....still awaiting the 'real ones.' I decided I hated my hair, but the day was so awesome I forgot til I looked at some pictures:) These are small pics. I will definitely post more when I actually have something to post with it. Just wanted to say I am finally Mrs. Zweifel!

How do I Really like Idaho????
I hear this question a LOT, and looking out the window watching it hail this morning....made me really wonder. I try to be as optimistic as possible and focus on the really great things about this place. I really like getting to wear jackets and sweaters and sweatshirts and socks and shoes. After living in Thatcher, then Hawaii, then the Valley and Tucson, I was so ready to get out of the heat and away from sweating my brains out. I really like how I have yet to hear a negative word about living in "Boise". I have yet to meet someone who does not enjoy living here. I like how most people here really enjoy outdoor activities and enjoy staying active. (given-I have only met a small circle of people- but still.) I like the traffic (except when it snows and there is a blanket of ice on the roads. Not snow, straight up Ice and everyone is sliding all over.) I like the friendliness just whereever you go. I like spending time with some of Eric's family, and how welcoming and homey they are. In many ways, Eric's aunt reminds me of my mom.....or perhaps I just imagine that in wondering what it would be like if my mom were still here.
I really anticipated a whole lot more home-sick and tearful period than I have experienced. I had a really hard time the last few days before i left Tucson. Realizing my family would not be as close and the nieces and nephews who are truly sunshine in my life would be so far away! Many tears were shed!!! I'm not around too many kids up here, but those few moments, I long to hang out with my gang back in AZ.
My job has not been as great as I thought.....yet it has. I have struggled with the new system, but am adjusting slowly to it I think. I used to think I pick up on things pretty quickly compared to most, however, then intensity and level of care has added way more pressure to be precise and perfect in whatever I have to do. I believe as soon as I find more faith in myself and my ability in this new position-the rest will work out. I have met really nice people, and they are supportive and helpful at work.....I just can't wait to feel compitent in my job again.
Eric's business is doing pretty darn well, especially for these economic circumstances. I'm truly proud of all his hard work. However, that hard work brings much time away. He is pretty much all I know around here....and he has had to put many many many hours in a work. But who wouldn't have to starting your own business right-so I totally understand. He has good days, but many days his schedule is way longer than mine, and he is there til 9-10-11 at night, and I don't get to see him. Those are frustrating days. He doesn't let it show too much, but I know having to carry the pressure of completing things at work, highly stresses him out. He handles it nicely and still manages to be quite sweet to me. So I am thankful for that.
Only here two months, and we have already had family come see us. that was exciting. Eric's mom and Kay came a few weeks ago to hang out one weekend, and his dad came last weekend. I realized how nice it was actually having people in the house with me....instead of the constant and sole companionship of my doggies:) (And people wonder why I'm so attached to the darn things.) It made me think about my mom being alone all those years and probably really looked forward to any visitor she had.
All in all.......It is a roller-coaster ride being here, but I'm surviving. That's the name of the game. Fake it til you Make it, right? I mean, who doesn't struggle every day with one thing or another. Sorry for the vent.....but hey....its my blog, I can do what I want! :)

Randomness....

I found a few random pictures to post...but not much to post about. The weather here in Idaho is still cold. My job, is still hard but I'm liking it. Eric's business is taking up a LOT of his time, but it is growing and those two are working hard.
Oh, and ....I chopped and dyed my hair. So here it is. Not the best picture, but the only one I have. Gotta love my dog trying to bite my hand. Truth is, I hate it. The color I like, but the cut is awful. The girl cut it crooked, so there is a huge hole in the side, but I'm not cutting it again, til its a little longer. I didn't want it to be any shorter right now.
One afternoon we took the dogs up the mountain and played in the snow. They are so funny. Mine hope through the snow like bunnies, and I did give in and buy them jackets for outside. Eric face planted it coming down a hill after a picture.

This is just a random pic of Michael, Alicia and I after I got back from Cabo.

After chasing my dogs down in the snow.

This is Marnie's kids and I before I left Eagar....to move to idaho. I love love LOVE these kids. So fun and so sad to leave them.

Check out the New Place!
So i thought I would add a few pics of my new place. I have taken my jolly time in putting things away....and Have a great need to get some more decorations.....so if anyone has advice on what to put where, please share. I am HORRIBLE at decorating and could use all the help I can get. This first pic is part of the kitchen.
This is coming in the front door. That's Drake, the guard dog, who follows me around more so than my two little dogs. To the left is the office which has my piano in it. a picture is later....
Here's the ole' bedroom. That mirror was supposed to go in the living room, but because of the set up, and a thermostat in the way, it really won't fit anywhere in there right, so we put it above my bed. I think I like it there. And for now it keeps me from wanting a new bed frame. :)
And here is my piano. Took it from my mom's house, which was sad, but I am so excited to have it here. I am waiting for the piano tuner, but I sat down at it last night and just started playing....It felt good to play the piano again. I obviously lacked a LOT in my skills, but it was none-the-less a blast. There is a whole upstairs with a 2nd full bathroom, and two extra bedrooms with a small common area. I really like the house. Oh, and we have a 3 car garage. The house has neighbors on one side (whom I don't think exist. The house has noone in it) and a part on the other side. So, needless to say, its a great place. It takes me about 30 minutes to get to work and walk inside,,,,and when Eric finally gets to move in it will take him about 20-25 minutes to get to work in the OTHER direction.

I started my new job this past week, well, last week, but this week I actually started on the floor. It is the surgical ICU, and I really think I'll like it. It moves at a VERY quick pace, and is a little backward from what I'm used to. The busiest parts of the day start coming around lunch time, when the surgeries, ( i.e-open heart, thoracotomies, Neuros, etc) start rolling through the door. Before it was the morning was crazy busy, and the rest of the day (on a good day) kinda slowed just a tad. Anyway, the people seem great and though I'm still scared, and even more excited. It's gonna be great.
Eric's endeavor, AKA the Whitecap Dental Studio is taking off. They have been pretty darn busy while they iron out the remainder of the 'start your own business' kinks. I have to admit, after an EXTREMELY rough start, things truly are working out and I am super proud of both he and Sean. There are many adventures ahead! Good times!

Made it to Idaho!
After a very lengthy drive last saturday, Eric, me and three dogs left at 645 am...and made it to Boise, Meridian to be exact around 1130 pm. It was bitter sweet to get here. It made the move real but put an end to the cramped ride! Thank goodness!
We have spent many hours un-packing and attempting to put things away. My rental house here is twice as big as my tucson rental, so I'm still figuring out where to put things. Poor Eric is been stretched in two directions. Unpacking and organizing here....as well as putting his lab together. After many weeks of kicking and screaming (not really) He and Sean's lab is almost at functioning capacity. How exciting that is! I think both of them have reached their stress limit as their goal and plans have been postponed by a month and a half. I'm completely excited to watch them take off in their business adventure!
So far I really like it here. There has been snow, ice, slush, and low temperatures, but there are some aspects that remind me of home. Of course its bigger, but somewhat the same. I start work Monday, found a gym, and started making this house comfy for me. Things are rolling along and the people here have been very friendly. My neighbors came over the first day and even shoveled snow one day. The landlords of my house are this real young couple who own three houses in the area.
I don't have many pics, but I'll post when I transfer them. The other great part is watching my dogs jump through the snow like little rabbits! They seem to love it and are adjusting to this strange place. I miss my family...or at least the idea of my family being close by, but all will be fine. Here's to a new start and exciting adventures! Don't have any further wedding plans yet. Sorry:(

Good Times
So, this past weekend, I got to watch my niece and nephew while their parents took a little time out to California. They were so funny. We went to see the lights at the temple...and they were all about random poses.
One night, another nephew joined us and we ventured to the Imax to watch The Polar Express "with glasses on"-as Zoe told her parents. I think the some of the animation got me for squirmy in my seat than any kid there.
Bringing my dogs is always a hit. But these two had more fun playing and locking and in and out....with this cage than anything.
Cimmeron (my nephew) has turned into quite the trombon-ist. I went to Sierra Vista for his winter band concert. I was quite impressed. He participated in the Jazz Band, regular concert band, and even a low-brass quartet which had to practice on their own time in order ro perform. He is such a good boy. I canNOT believe he will be in high school next year. I'm so proud of him. (the little guy is Kameron, another nephew.)
