I have been meaning to post something of "greatness" on the ole-bliggity blog lately. But every time I sit to do just that....nothing seems to fit that category. Something really Great! Hummmm.....So I thought about posting about work. About how I was put on the Code team the other night, to respond to any code throughout the hospital....and then freakishly My very own patient was the patient who coded. The first time it was MY patient. But then i didn't write about it, because most people don't really wanna hear about stuff like 'near-death' instances, CPR and intubation. So.....I won't talk about work. lol....
How about friendship:
I have had some really great times with my new friend and neighbor down the street. Time just hanging out! Laughing. Talking. Playing games for hours. Watching movies, laughing some more. It reminds of past times. I mean...we all have friends, acquaintences, or people whom we do and don't connect with; and friendships that just come easier than others. For the past few weeks, I have really reflected upon some of those friendships I've had. As the single person, I didn't fully understand how friendships change when you get married. After moving a billion miles away, and getting married, the friendship category took a major shift. I am so grateful for the new friends Eric and I have made. And i am so grateful for the many friends I have had throughout the years who have been examples to me, and taught me the type of friend I WANT to be. I have definitely been blessed with amazing people in my life. The sad/weird thing is, i had almost forgotten how much I enjoy the company of a true and honest friend...and I was almost okay with it. almost :)
What else to spill.
Humble pie anyone? I don't know about you, but I continue to learn the same lessons very frequently. Tonight at work, I came in, looked at my schedule...and spent hours planning in my pissed off little head, a confrontation with my boss about how inconsiderate I thought she was being, and yadda yadda yadda.....I thought she was throwing a few night shifts in the midst of my day shifts (without even speaking, or expalining anything to me)...and for those of you who have worked nights, you know the switching is not easy. Well, after ranting and venting....I found out that the "p" didn't mean pm-am, but it meant "Preceptor"-I'll have someone with me on the DAYS I'll be working. Go figure. So, when I learned that via my charge, I hung my litle head in shame, blushed and just stated....."I deserve this!" When will I learn to keep my mouth shut...and simply Ask!!!! Embarrassing. I sure got mine!
Ok....so that's enough. PS-Eric's business is rocking! I'm so proud of him. I just hate how he is always working! Oh the joys of your own business.
cheers everyone! I hope all is well in blogger world!

We took a little trip up the mountain to a cute little town called McCall with the DeSpains. We had a good time just hanging out. Playing games, swimming, eating. This pic is emily and Silas, on the drive up. that little boy is so fun!
The boys playing near the frozen lake. there was lots of ice-fishing going on.
Here is Ethan and Eric, waiting to play games as Emily and I made one of our many trips to the vending machines:)

One year Already!!!!
It is so hard for me to believe not only that I have lived in Boise over a year now, but also that I have been married....ONE YEAR! Saturday was Eric and my anniversary. It was a quiet day....but a good one! And we ended it eating a fabulour italian restaurant. We decided since we had a pasta bar at our reception....we would make it a tradition! Pasta/Italian every march 13th!
I do apologize for the picture overload to follow...I thought I'd post a run of pictures from our big day, back to our first days of dating.....It's not as many as I found.....but some of my favorite memories. Sadly, they all look the same, but I promise they each have a story and a memory....
I love the cake in the face picture. It was so much fun....and it reminds me of the random laughs we have.
I think this pic is funny...Us in the biking get up. My sister Angie visited last september, and we went biking. Eric loves it. I'm still not good at it all....but I think I wanna try to get into it.
this is at Eric's brother's Scott and Amanda's wedding. Good times!
this was our first camping trip we took. My family reunion in Luna NM. We took Cimmeron on his quad, Eric on his bike, and I on a quad...went ridin through the mud to the az state line. It was a fun time...and even funner trying to clean up while camping.
Jackson hole trip with Eric's dad and family.
The next few from our fabulous week in Cabo when Eric FINALLY proposed! Man, I wish I was that tan now:)
Just funny!
Eric and his dad came to Tucson one weekend, so we went to Pinnacle Peak for dinner and cheesy entertainment.
Our first ski/snowboarding trip. Then the 2nd...
Awww......I just love him! And his kisses!
Nice cold-sore on my lip.
I think I'd known him 2 weeks? and we went for this LOOOOOONG drive. It ended up being pretty fun. I learned he loved to take pictures of scenary.
